Rasa Vitalia's
Live Music Performance
BANDS, PERFORMANCES & TOURSAs a dance performer, my specialty is working with the Yuval Ron Ensemble, Rachid Halihal Ensemble, Light Rain and many musical acts. As artists, we are interested sharing in the spirit, love and celebration of music, dance and life. As a musical act, we are currently working on touring around the globe. We are looking to book places to perform/lecture/teach workshops in Middle Eastern Music and Dance. Our focus is on the performance and educational aspect of sacred Middle Eastern, Jewish, and Moroccan music and how it unites people of all cultures. Through our performance, we aim to bring peace and unity well as inspiration and connection with each other and give thanks. This is an important message for us to always keep in our hearts. Below you will find a few groups that I work with on a regular basis. Please let me know if you are interested in having us share our performance and knowledge at your venue or events.RASA VITALIA
Rasa Vitalia is a professional dance artist, specializing in Middle Eastern dance, with over a decade of experience in multiple dance forms, including Near/Middle Eastern (Middle/Near East, Arabic, Belly Dance, Moroccan, Gypsy, Turkish, Persian) and Afro-Brazilian. Rasa’s mastery of sword balance, percussive cymbal rhythms, and dynamic movement makes her one of the most sought after performers in the world dance music scene. She has performed as a solo artist to audiences in cities throughout the U.S., contributed her talents to several troupes, and worked with an array of world-class, international musicians. Rasa Vitalia most often performs with a few select live Middle Eastern music ensembles including musicians on percussion, string and vocals. Rasa can bring her solo act or live music act to your event. Rasa Vitalia's approach to belly dance is in essence improvisational, fluid, unique, sensitive, and expressive. Her artistry gives timeless form to the subtle truths of the heart. Rasa seeks to unite the spectator with the divine in Nature through her graceful movements, and gives a brilliant and generous performance her audience won’t soon forget.

AND MORE!
Rasa Vitalia works with many
musicians and can create a combination that fits the local, essence,
theme and needs of program of the event. Live music and dance is
preferrable to taped/cd music. Please consider the high quality,
beauty, magic, and artistry live music and dance can create! A full
ensemble is a very powerful performance. However, even the basic
musical duet of a violin/oud/singer and percussionist with a dancer
makes for a beautiful and intimate performance, and rings true to the
way performances were created throughout history.
I believe dance would
really add to the dynamism and education of live music performance. Dance is
an important accompaniment to the live music and should not be lost. Thank you for supporting the arts.
